Armenian Ambassador to the UN spoke the consequences of Armenian Genocide

On March 2 Armenian Permanent representative to the UN, Ambassador Karen Nazaryan participated in the Hay Dat annual evening in San Francisco. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.

Ambassador delivered speech on the diplomat’s day and underlined that it was symbolic to be in San Francisco on that day as here the UN codex was signed.

Ambassador underlined that Armenia became UN member 21 years ago on that day and continued following its values till now.

Armenian representative to the UN underlined Armenian efforts in order to prevent genocides in the world and spoke about the consequences of Armenian Genocide by the Ottoman Empire. In this context he also referred to the Azerbaijani dangerous policy.

Karen Nazaryan underlined that Armenian President and Government paid much attention to the ties between Armenia and Diaspora.
