Iranian official considers talks in London useful

Iran’s non-resident Charge dˈ Affaires in Britain Mohammad Hassan Habibollah-zadeh, who is in London, called his talks with British officials “useful”.

He informed Iranian news web-site IRNA on Friday that he met with a number of British Foreign Office officials including Mr. Ajay Sharma, British non-resident Charge dˈ Affaires in Tehran.

The diplomat said following up the agreements reached by foreign ministers of the two countries, this negotiation is part of a step by step process to settle existing problems, reaching an understanding and finally restoring bilateral relations.

He added he was satisfied with negotiation atmosphere and had useful and constructive talks. The two sides offered their viewpoints transparently and in detail.

Habibollah-zadeh also mentioned his meeting with members of Britain-Iran parliamentary friendship group in the venue of parliament on Thursday, adding that they discussed parliamentary cooperation.

He said that he had extended an invitation of Iranˈs head of parliamentary friendship group to his counterpart to pay a visit to Tehran.

Habibollah-zadeh arrived in London on Thursday and will leave for Tehran on Friday evening.
