Minister Nalbandian had meetings in Panama

On January 8 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian visited Panama. Press and information department of the Armenian MFA informs about this. 

Armenian MFA Edward Nalbandian and Panamanian MFA Fernando Fabrega continued discussions of the bilateral relations which started in New-York on September, 2013. In this context Minister Fabrega welcomed his Armenian counterpart’s visit to Panama and underlined that the visit would assist to strengthen ties between two countries.   

Minister Nalbandian underlined that though Armenia and Panama were far from each other for thousands kms, but two countries agreed on various international issues.

Both sides rated cooperation strengthening in various spheres between Armenia and Panama.

Some other regional and international issues were touched upon during the meeting as well. 

On the same day Minister Nalbandian had a meeting with Head of the Foreign Relations Committee of Panamanian National Assembly Dalia Bernal.  

Both diplomats discussed some issues of bilateral interest and also touched upon Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
