Francophone month is started in Armenia

On March 15 Francophone month has started inArmenia. The event is coordinated by Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is assisted by Armenian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Science, Union of Armenian Community, French, Canadian, Egyptian, Polish, Romanian and Swiss Embassies inArmenia,Yerevan Municipalityand someArmenian Universitiesand NGOs. Press and information department of RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

More than 250 literal, cultural, educational events devoted to Francophone will be organized in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia on March 15-Arpil 23. Armenian,Belgium, French, Canadian, Polish and Swiss artists will participate in the events.

The official opening of the Francophone month will take place today, on March 16, at 19:00 at National academic theatre of opera and ballet after Alexander Spandiaryan with “Carmen” opera.

The press-conference devoted to Francophone month wil take place on March 20 at 15:00 at French Embassy in Armenia.
