Armenian and Belarusian officials met to discuss issues of cooperation

On March 15, 2012 Armenian and Belarusian Ministries of Foreign Affairs held consultations. As press and information department of the RA MFA informs adviser of Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, head of the CIS department Armen Gevorgyan, head of the border countries’ department Karen Mirzoyan and head of the department of press and information department of RA MFA, adviser of Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Tigran Mkrtchyan presented Armenian side.

Belarusian side was presented by head of the Belarusian MFA department with CIS countries Nikolay Demchuk and head of the media department Andrey Savinikh and Belarusian Ambassador to Armenia Stephan Sukhorenko.

During the meeting the sides discussed political, economical, regional cooperation issues between Armenia and Belarus.

Sides also referred to the cooperation in frame of the international organizations and touched upon the possibility of expanding cooperation in public diplomacy sphere.
