Ethiopian Ambassador: “My country is eager to strengthen relations with Armenia”

On March 22 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan accepted newly-appointed Ethiopian Ambassador to Armenia Casahun Dander Melis on occasion of handing copies of his credentials. Press and information department of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

Armenian Minister congratulated newly appointed Ambassador on the nomination and noted that Armenian and Ethiopian nations were united with historical, cultural, religious ties and these ties were good base for the further development of the relations. Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs wished success to Ambassador in his mission and hoped that he would assist the ties between two countries to be developed more.

Ambassador thanked for the warm words and underlined that his country was eager to develop and strengthen relations with Armenia and assured that he would do his best to expand the cooperation on various spheres.

During the meeting the sides discussed various ways of development of the cooperation and touched upon the relations in frame of the international organizations.

They also spoke about the events which take place in the Northern Africa and discussed events in South Caucasus.
