On 23 March Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan convoked a meeting of the Security Council. The draft of the NKR Civil Defense Strategy was discussed during the meeting. Central Information Department of the Office of Artsakh President informs about this.

Director of the rescue service Arthur Haroutyunyan delivered a report on the issue.

President Sahakyan considered the organization and realization of civil defense among the key functions of the state, a pivotal and integral component of the country’s security.

The Head of the State approved the draft of the Civil Defense Strategy and assigned the Security Council Secretary to start the approval process of the document in accordance with the established procedure.
