Sumgait victims were commemorated in Germany

On March 23 Armenian Community in German Baden Wurttemberg region organized an event devoted to the memory of the Armenian victims of Sumgait massacres which Azerbaijanis organized on 1988, end of February. “European center Artsakh”, “Maral” and Armenian-German cultural organizations assisted to organize the event.

As press service of “European center Artsakh” informs in a press release clergyman of Armenian Community in Baden Wurttemberg region Father Tiratur delivered a speech during the commemoration event and then served holy mess devoted to the memory of victims.

Artsakh Republic Permanent representative to Germany Harutyun Grigoryan spoke about the pogroms which were organized by Azerbaijanis against Armenian people. He also noted in his speech that Azerbaijani crimes have not been condemned by the international society properly.

Armenian musician, graduate of the Armenian musical school after Chaykovski and Madrid Royal Conservatory, master of the Manhattan musical school, pianist Sophia Melikyan continued the evening with great concert.
