S. Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence to Alexander Harutyunyan’s family

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent on March 28 a letter of condolences on the demise of the renowned composer, laureate of state awards Alexander Harutyunian, press service of Armenian President informs.

In the letter of condolences addressed to the family, friends and admirers of the composer, President writes: “I learned with deep sorrow news on the demise of the renowned composer Alexander Harutyunyan. He belongs to the generation which opened a new era in the history of the Armenian music and he himself was one of the most unique and bright representatives of that generation. He left a great and glorious legacy which is an indivisible part of our national musical art and our treasure.”
