Press office of the US State Department released an announcement concerning the further development of the Armenian-Turkish relations. The issue was discussed during the briefing with the journalists.

US State Secretary Hilary Clinton noted in Armenia that now Turkey must hold the next step for the normalization of the relation. The US State Department was asked whether the US Government tries to tell about this Ankara authorities.

“We support Armenian and Turkish efforts towards the normalization of the relations. This issue is the part of the dialogue with Armenian and Turkish high level officials”, the release by the State Department says.
