Armenian newspapers today: pre-electoral passions are getting hotter

“Hayatsq” newspaper writes that according to its information dissatisfied women continue leaving “Rule of Law” party. According to the source Central electoral committee accepted applications by Ashkhen Manukyan, Karine Mkrtchyan and Meri Ghonyan to leave the list. By the way the whole staff of the Regional Academy of European education which belongs to Arthur Baghdasaryan is included in the list of the “Rule of Law”. It is not excluded that more women will leave the party soon.

“Hraparak” writes that the meeting of “Prosperous Armenia” party in Syuniq region on April 26-27 will be interesting. According to the newspaper Syuniq Governor Suren Khachatryan held a council on these days and invited all local leaders to the meeting. He ordered strictly not to let any person go to the meeting with the representatives of “Prosperous Armenia” party. This order achieved to party leader Gagik Tsarukyan. And now the latter decided to take the voters of the neighboring region Vayots Dzor to Syuniq region. Vayots Dzor Governor Sergey Bagratyan is from the “Prosperous Armenia” party. The newspaper did not manage to get clarifications from the Syuniq Governor as he did not even want to hear the question. Newspaper spoke about the chairman of the “Prosperous Armenia” regional council Kamo Harutyunyan who said: “The Governor can not make obstacles for our meetings”.

As “Zhokhovurd” writes “Rule of Law” and “Heritage” party have problem with the members of electoral committees. According to the newspaper these parties do not have enough people for nomination. So as a result “Rule of Law” will give its places to the RPA. “It is interesting that these parties which have thousands of members now do not have enough people for the nomination”, the newspaper writes. Anyway both parties denied this information to “Zhokhovurd”.
