Brazilian MFA will visit Armenia

Delegation led by Armenian deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ashot Hovakimyan visited Brazil to participate in the annual session of the “Open Government Partnership”.

On April 16 Armenian DM met his Brazilian counterpart Ruy Nogeyra, press and information department of Armenian MFA informs.  

During the meeting the sides discussed some issues of Armenian-Brazilian relations. Brazilian MFA’s visit to Armenia was on agenda as well.

On the request of the Brazilian side Ashot Hovakimyan presented the last developments of the Nagorno Karabakh issue. Brazilian official ensured that Brazil has not changed its attitude towards the issue peace settlement and underlined that his country supported OSCE MG co-chairs’ attitude.

On April 18 Ashot Hovakimyan met Brazilian deputy MFA Vera-Mashadu. Bilateral relations were on agenda again. Regional processes were discussed as well.

On the same day A. Hovakimyan met vice chairman of the Brazilian National Congress Rose de Freitass. The sides underlined the importance of the inter-parliamentarian ties.
