New candidate to the post of US Ambassador to Azerbaijan is nominated

US President Barack Obama nominated new candidate to the post of US ambassador to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani Press Agency reports about this.

According to the press service of the White House Obama submitted the candidacy of US Secretary of State’s Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard L. Morningstar to the Congress for approval.

US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza was recalled in January, 2012 because the Congress didn’t approve his candidacy.
