Visa regime with Schengen zone countries will be facilitated

On April 26-27 the second round of the negotiations between theRepublicofArmeniaand the European Union on the facilitation and readmission took place inBrussels. Press and information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this. Armenian deputy MFA Zohrab Mnatsakanyan led the delegation on Armenian side.

According to the agreement of the facilitation of the visa regime Armenian citizens will get the visas for Schengen zone countries easier. According to the agreement Armenian scientists, students, journalists, sport and art activists will get visa by the easy regime. It is supposed to reduce the price for the visa and the whole process.

Parallel with the facilitation and readmission agreement Armenian side also held negotiations on the return which supposes to regulate the issue of return for those people who entered to the EU illegally.

Both sides noted in the negotiations that they have succeeded in their mission. The next roun of negotiations is intended to take place inYerevanon June.
