ICRC representatives visited Armenians captivated in Azerbaijan

Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited three Armenian servicemen and five civilians held captive inAzerbaijanon April 25. Azerbaijani Press Agency informs about this quoting to the spokesperson for the ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan Shahla Gahramanova.

ICRC representatives delivered 2 Red Cross Messages to the captives and 3 messages were taken from them. 

Currently there are three Armenian prisoners of war and five civilians in Azerbaijan. The civilians are the members of one family – Yegishe, Ruzanna, Alfred, Gayane and Petros Gevorkian. They were captivated on January, 2010. 

Two the captives – Ohan Arutunyan and Gevorg Tovmasyan were captivated on May, 2009, another one – Karen Arutunyan was captivated on July, 2009. 

There is one Azerbaijani serviceman inArmenia,Akhundzadeh Mammadbaghir, who has passed the border by his own will some months ago.
