“Heritage” party released a message on Mashtots Park events

Pre-electoral staff of the “Heritage” party has condemned the violence by the police against the civilians. The press-service of the staff released a message on the issue which especially says:
“On April 29 a group of people who are troubled with the ecological problems tried to situate a tent in the Mashtots Park as they aimed to hold a full-day strike in the Park. Police used physical force to make obstacles for them.
As the video clip of the caseshows obviously policemen used physical force without any special permission and without any warnings. As a result of the violations the police took the tent from the ecological activists.
According to our information more than ten activists were wounded and they were transferred to the hospital to be examined. Some citizens were taken to the Police department but they were released soon.
Pre-electoral staff of “Heritage” party condemns strictly the violations by the Police against the citizens and the other illegal actions and claims that the guilty people must be punished.”
Note that the situation was strained in Mashtots Park yesterday. The activists tried to put a tent in the Park for the full-day strike but the Police forbade. As a result two sides clashed.
Remind that the struggle in Mashtots Park against the kiosk has started on February and it is going on till now.
