Armenian chess-players at the international championships

Armenian GMs Zaven Andriasian and Elina Danielian are taking part in Chinese Team Chess Championship for Tianjin Club. After 4 rounds Tianjin is taking the 6th place among 12 teams. Andriasian has scored 3 and Danielian 1,5 points.

According to the same source Armenian GM Hrant Melkumyan is going to take part in the 42nd International Tournament that will be held on May 5-11, 2012 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among his opponents are 15 grandmasters including Postny (Israel), Predojevic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Erdos (Hungary), Beliavsky (Slovenia).
