G. Amalyan spoke about the electoral processes

Today chairman of the TV-radio National Committee Grigor Amalyan spoke about the electoral process at the Central Electoral Committee. According to him the omissions of previous elections have been checked and now the results are good.

He noted that on April 8-May 4 National Committee has studied the work of 45 TV channels and 20 radio stations.

The records of the programs, publications in the media and indexes by the NGOs, state bodies and international organizations have been base for the monitoring.

6500 broadcasted hours have been monitored. The committee has worked without any free day during the pre-electoral campaign.

“The committee reacted to the media publications as well. Two times the candidates complained that they were treated not objective by this or that TV channel and without their application we have restored their rights”, Amalyan underlined.

He also informed that the last report on the monitoring will be published on May 10.

He did not tell the last evaluation as the studies will be continued since late night and the results of last week would be decisive.
