S. Sargsyan met D. Medvedev

Armenian President is in Russia with working visit. In frame of the visit on May 15 he met Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Press service of Armenian President informs about this.

Armenian President congratulated D. Medvedev on his new position and wished him success in his new mission. S. Sargsyan ensured that D. Medvedev will assist Armenian-Russian cooperation in the new position as well.

Medvedev said in his turn that he would continue the cooperation and the ties would be strengthened. Medvedev congratulated Sargsyan on the Armenian Parliamentarian elections where Republican Party got big percent of votes.

He wished it to be a base for Armenian effective development. He underlined that Russia is ready to assist Armenia in any case.  

After the meeting S. Sargsyan also participated in the CIS non-official meeting.
