Hackers attacked web-sites of Eurovision song contest

Today, on May 17, a group of hackers named as “Fedai of liberty” (“Soldiers of liberty”) attacked the sites eurovision.az, eurovisionaz.com, esctoday.com and ann.az.  APA informs about this.

According to the source, it created serious problems for the above-mentioned websites. The hackers placed their demands and the photo of the killed writer Rafig Tagi on the site ann.az. 

They also placed slogans against the Eurovision song contest in Baku. 

According to the Azerbaijani source the technical staffs of the sites are working to eliminate these problems now. 

Eurovision.az and esctoday.com are the official websites of the Eurovision 2012 song contest.

As is was announced “Eurovision 2012” will be held in Azerbaijan many international organizations claimed that Azerbaijani Government must overview the situation of human rights. Some of them claimed to boycott Eurovision contest in Baku. A group of Armenian organizations also sent an open letter with the same claim.
