Iran-IAEA meeting will take place two days before G5+1 negotiations

As it was informed before negotiations between Iran and IAEA will take place in Tehran. On this purpose head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano arrived in Tehran on Monday. Iranian state news agency IRNA informs about this.

During his one-day stay, Amano will hold talks with Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Abbassi Davani, Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran (SNSCI), Saeed Jalili, and Foreign Minister, Ali-Akbar Salehi.

Talking to IRNA Friday night, Salehi said Amano is visiting Iran to hold talks with Iranian officials on mutual cooperation.

Salehi said he had in Austria last year invited Amano to visit Iran.

As IAEA representative said he thinks positive about visiting to Iran.

Meeting between Iranian and IAEA officials will take place two days before the Iran-G5+1 talks in Baghdad about Tehran’s peaceful nuclear issue.
