Today, on May 22 Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ashot Hovakimyan and US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern signed an agreement “About cooperation between Armenian National Security Service and the US Ministry of Defense on support of the border security and annihilation of the mass weapons”. Press and information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.
The agreement aims to regulate the cooperation between Armenian NSS and the US DM on prevention of the illegal weapon transfer through Armenia. The agreement also aims fin out the crimes and punish the criminals who will illegally transfer US productions to Armenia.
