P5+1 Negotiators are seeking for the response

P5+1 Negotiations on Iranian nuclear program started yesterday in Iraqi capital Baghdad. As Iranian presstv.ir writes the members of the negotiations are divided as they seek a response to the comprehensive package,Tehran has offered.

Tehran offered the package on Wednesday in the first session of the talks.

The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalili has had a meeting with the EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, who heads the P5+1 representatives.

Sources close to the Iranian delegation said the Iranian team has also held separate bilateral talks with the Chinese delegation, while more talks with the P5+1 group are scheduled for Thursday.

The group and Iran met in Istanbulin mid-April and found enough common ground to continue dialogs in Baghdad.

The two sides had previously held two rounds of talks, one in Geneva in December 2010 and another in Istanbul in January 2011.
