“Prosperous Armenia” will not be in the governmental coalition

Leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” party Gagik Tsarukyan delivered an announcement about the coalition in coming Government. He especially said:

“Dear compatriots, sisters, brothers, 6^thconvention of the “Prosperous Armenia” party had one main essence. And it was the idea of changes in the nation’s life. We have had the same point of view also during the whole propaganda term. “ProsperousArmenia” has presented a complete program to the people. I have announced during my all meetings that I have no personal interest while I am involved in the politics. Moreover, I have announced that I am ready to have losses but I will keep saintly the trust of the nation.

“ProsperousArmenia” party got nearly half million votes as a result of the Parliamentarian elections. There people have voted for the “Prosperous Armenia” as they trust in us and now will claim real changes in the social- economical life.

According to the result of the election “Prosperous Armenia” has no constitutional opportunity to create a government and fulfill its programs. So taking into consideration all facts I have told I announce now officially that “Prosperous Armenia” party does not consider it is rational to participate in the coalition government.

“ProsperousArmenia” will continue having important role in the political life of our country. We will have constructive and balancing role and participation in Armenian social-political life.

“ProsperousArmenia” will have active and acting fraction in the Parliament. I promise that our deputies will certainly be with the nation and will protect people’s interests and rights as it is possible.
