Armenian Ambassador to Ireland handed her credentials to Irish President

On May 22-23 Armenian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Karine Ghazinyan visited Dublin to hand her credentials to the President of Ireland Michael Higins. She is appointed as Armenian Ambassador to Ireland jointly with the UK. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.

On May 23 after the handing ceremony the Ambassador had a short conversation with the President. Perspectives of Armenian-Irish relations were discussed during the meeting. Minister of local and middle business John Perry and leader of the Presidential staff Adrian O’Nil attended the meeting as well.  

Armenian honored consular in Ireland organized an acceptance on the honor of Armenian Ambassador. Representatives of state bodies, members of Armenian Community and diplomatic corpus attended the event.

On the same day Armenian Ambassador to Ireland K. Ghazinyan had a meeting with the Irish Minister of Foreign Affairs David Donahyu and leader of the OSCE working group Frank Cogan.

Ambassador Ghazinyan had some other meeting with the Irish officials as well. On May 22 she had a meeting with the representatives of Armenian Community in Ireland.
