French Senators rated democratic norms in Artsakh

On May 25 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan hosted members of the French Senate Sophie Juassen, Phillip Marini and Bernard Furnie. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.

Edward Nalbandyan welcomed the guests and rated French Senators’ personal investment in strengthening and developing Armenian-French relations and in cooperation between Armenian and French Parliaments.

Armenian MFA welcomed French Senators’ visit to Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) and underlined that such visits gave opportunity to the foreigners to see the situation themselves and know about the situation just in the place.

French Senators expressed satisfaction towards their visits to the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh). Senators rated democratic norms which they saw in Arstakh.

Senators and Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed a large range of issues connected with Armenian-French relations.

The sides also referred to the Armenia-EU cooperation and spoke about some regional and international issues.
