T. Sargsyan discussed issues on economical cooperation with D. Medvedev

After Armenian delegation’s visit to Ashkhabad and Tigran Sargsyan’s meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Armenian Prime Minister answered to the questions by Armenian media.

Answering to the question about the topic of the discussions with D. Medvedev, Tigran Sargsyan said: “We have referred to the inter-governmental issues which are about strengthening the economical ties. First of all we have discussed some issues about Verin Lars in order to have effective customs service. It will make easier to export goods from Armenia to Russia. Russian PM promised to assist us. This is essential issue for us.

The second topic is about the free trade zone law which is accepted by Armenian Parliament.

Then we referred to the Rosagrolizing. We have agreed to open a branch of the company and the decision of Russian Government is needed. Russian PM gave the appropriate orders and the issue will be discussed. ”

Referring to the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan T. Sargsyan said: “We have agreed that Armenia will support Turkmenistan in fulfilling the international agreements. First of all we have discussed energetic security issue. We have promised that Armenia will assist to accept the appropriate conventions in the international organizations, especially in the UN.

Some other economical issues were touched upon as well.” As Tigran Sargsyan added President of Turkmenistan will visit Armenia this year on the invitation of Armenian President.
