M. Ahmadinejad invited S. Sargsyan to visit Iran

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan hosted today special negotiator of Iranian President, Minister of Energetic Majid Namju, who transferred Mahmud Ahmadinejad’s invitation for Serzh Sargsyan to attend not-united movement summit. Press service of Armenian President informs about this.

S. Sargsyan welcomed Namju’s visit to Armenia and underlined that our country rated cooperation with friendly and good neighbor Iran.

Both sides welcomed the volume of the trade between two countries on the last years and underlined that the volume could be increased. They hoped main projects on energetic sphere would assist to develop the cooperation.  

Iranian Minister informed that soon the constructions of the hydroelectric station in Meghri would be started.

During the meeting both sides rated inter-governmental connections between Armenia and Iran.
