Syria claims the Western diplomats must leave the country

Syrian authorities announced that they are driving away the Western diplomats from their country. Armenian tert.am informs about this referring to the Syrian “Suria” TV channel.

Especially the Ambassadors of the USA, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italian and the consulars of Bulgaria and Canada are claimed to leave Syria.

On the end of May a group of countries included in “Syrian friends’ group” initiative announced that thet drove away Syrian diplomats from their countries.

This action started on May 25-26 after the tensions which the massacres in Hula residence caused.

The tensions in Syria started on March, 2011. The opposition claims that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad must resign and the latter does not agree. Assad announced that the Western forces are engaged in the terrible situation which occurs in Syria now.
