Armenia participated in EU Eastern Partnership informal meeting

On June 5 informal meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Eastern Partnership took place in Kishinev took place. Representatives of Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Azerbaijan, Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, some other high-level European officials participated in the meeting. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this. Armenian delegation was led by Armenian deputy MFA Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.  

The processes of reforms in the member countries after the Eastern partnership session which took place in 2011 in Warsaw were on agenda. The participants discussed events which must take place on 2013 meeting.  

Z. Mnatsakanyan welcomed the multilateral cooperation of Eastern Partnership in his speech and noted that it could be an effective platform for the cooperation.

He also spoke about the reforms which are held in Armenia and about the perspectives of Eastern Partnership.

 Z. Mnatsakanyan also had some meetings with his counterparts and EU officials.
