Seyran Ohanyan spoke about state defense

According to the Armenian Armed Forces plan a week meetings with participation of the representatives of Armenian executive government, state and administrative bodies at Armenian Ministry of Defense since today, June 11.

As press service of Armenian Ministry of Defense informs the meetings started today with the lecture by Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan named «State’s preparation for the defense».

Armenian Minister of Defense welcomed the presents and underlined that such meetings gave opportunity to increase the success and to reduce the omissions. Seyran Ohanyan discussed two important issues in his lecture: the first is about the state defense and the second is about population preparation for the defense.

On the end of the meeting Armenian Minister of Defense answered to the questions by presents.

First deputy Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan delivered lecture named «CSTO role in Armenian military security». CSTO military trainings which are scheduled on September in Armenia were also touched upon during the lecture.

Secretary of National Security Service Arthur Baghdasaryan, representatives of Economics and Emergency Situations will also deliver lectures in frame of the meetings.

The event participants will also visit Armenian militray units and will participate in practical trainings.
