Ch. Aznavour met UN Representative on refugees’ issues

On June 12 Armenian Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour had a meeting with the UN High Representative on Refugees’ issues Antonio Gutierrez. Press and information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

During the meeting the sides discussed the cooperation plans between Armenia and the Office of High Representative. Ambassador Aznavour underlined the importance of the Representative’s participation in the conference on 2011 which was devoted to the issue of the flats for the refugees who have escaped from Azerbaijan. Ambassador underlined the necessity to assist Armenian efforts towards the program in future as well.

Mr. Guteires noted that he and the office always pay attention to the refugees’ issues in the whole world and expressed readiness to assist Armenia to solve the problem completely.
