Armenian consul general met Arizona University students and lecturers

On June 11 Armenian Consul General Gregory Hovhannisyan visited “Meliqyan” center on Russian, Eurasian and Eastern European studies of Arizona University and had a meeting with the lecturers and the students. Press service of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

The students of the center had opportunity to attend the lecture by the Armenian Consul General about the creation of Armenian Diaspora, about its developments and about the relations between Armenia and Diaspora. Answering to the questions by the presents Gregory Hovhannisyan referred to the last developments of the NK issue settlement process, US State Secretary’s last visit to Armenia and the tensions which were caused by Azerbaijan on the border.

During the meeting the consul general was also asked about the last developments in Armenia and in the region.
Mr. Hovhannisyan also met the students who study Armenian and who will visit Armenia with two-week visit soon.
