Japanese official: S. Sargsyan’s visit to Japan was great event for us

On June 15 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan hosted the vice-chairman of Japanese “Soca Gakai” movement Kenyi Yoshigoi and the representative Elchi Oushi, who are in Armenia on the occasion of opening ceremony of photo exhibition of Daysaku Ikeda. The latter has been the chairman of the movement for a long time. Press service of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

During the meeting Armenian MFA underlined that Japanese achievements are too important for the humanity and that Armenian nation is thankful for the support which Japanese nation showed towards Armenians on various spheres.
Minister Nalbandyan underlined that Armenian delegation has the warmest memories about the meeting with the “Soca” university lecturers and students which took place in frame of the Armenian President’s official visit to Japan.

Kenyi Yoshigoi noted that he was very happy to be in Armenia and was thankful for the war welcome. He underlined that Mr. Sargsyan’s visit to Japan and his speech in “Soca” university was a great event and it was great honor for them to award him with the Doctor’s level.

Vice-chairman of “Soca Gakai” also added that educational development and the cultural exchange in the whole world were among the main aims of the movements.

Some issues about Armenian-Japanese cooperation were discussed as well.
