Michel Legrand, well-known French composer, singer and pianist will have concert in Yerevan on the occasion of his jubilee. The concert is planned on October 20. This event will conclude the sixth Yerevan international musical festival. Press service of Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra informs about this.

Wife of the singer Catherine Michel will attend the concert as well.

City Lights Entertainment Company is the organizer of the concert.

Michel Legrand was born in February 24, 1932. His parents have escaped from the Armenian Genocide and appeared in France.

His father Raymond Legrand was his first teacher. His mother, Haykanush Marcel Ter-Mikayelyan was a pianist.

Maestro worked with such stars as Frank Sinatra, Edith Piaf Charles Aznavour, Mary Lafore and so on.
