Armenian and Italian officials discussed bilateral relations

On August 27 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian hosted the delegation led by the Italian FM State Secretary Marta Dassu. Press and information department of the Armenian MFA informs about this. Ed. Nalbandian welcomed the guests and noted that Armenian-Italian relations have history of ages.

According to the Minister the historical ties are good base for the effective and multilateral cooperation between Armenia and Italy. Marta Dassu thanked for the acceptance and said that she was happy to visit Armenia and to discuss the issues of bilateral interest. Minister Nalbandian and FM State Secretary Dassu rated Armenian President’s visit to Italy which took place on the end of the last year.

The sides also discussed the possibilities of cooperation on trade-economical, scientific, cultural and tourism spheres. Current situation between Armenia and European Union was also on agenda.

Ed. Nalbandian presented the last developments of the NK issue settlement process to the Italian official. Some other regional and international events were also discussed.
