“Prosperous Armenia” party will not have own candidate during the Presidential election in 2013

Press service of Armenian “Prosperous Armenia” political party has spread an announcement today. The announcement especially said:

“Today, on December 12 the “Prosperous Armenia” fraction and the civilian council held a joint session. Only one question was on agenda: the participation of “Prosperous Armenia” political party in the coming Presidential election in 2013.

During the opening speech “PA” chairman Gagik Tsarukyan announced that he would not present his candidacy. He thanked his counterparts for the confidence and support.

Taking into consideration the announcement by the leader the joint session accepted two decisions:

• “Prosperous Armenia” will not have own candidate during the coming Presidential elections in 2013

• “Prosperous Armenia” party will not support any candidate during the elections”.
