Hrant Bagratyan presents his candidacy at the Presidential elections

Armenian ex Prime Minister, member of Armenian National Congress (ANC) Hrant Bagratyan has made an announcement, which he wrote on his Facebook page.

The announcement especially said:

“Today is December 20. Everyone asks about the coming council of “Freedom” political party. The council will take place on December 24, at 12:00. Our delegates ask about agenda (some of them will come from further places). Yes, my candidacy for the Presidential elections will be on agenda. So I ask all delegates to participate in the meeting. I find that a candidate with free ideology is necessary. At the same time I announce that if Levon Ter-Petrosyan presents his candidacy, then I will take mine (if I put it in general).

I ask to take into consideration the fact that my candidacy is not presented by the ANC. Moreover, now I suspend my active cooperation with the ANC in order not to be pressed by anyone”.
