Armenian chess players show good results at various tournaments

Armenian chess players Sargis V. Manukyan and Armine Babayan have scored 2,5 points each after 3 rounds at the open that is being held in Mashhad, Iran. They are half a point behind the leaders. Armchess.am informs about this.

IM Karen Grigoryan and GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan have scored 6 points each out of 8 before the last round of the tournament that is being held in Rochefort, France. They are half a point behind the leader – GM Davit Jojua (Georgia).

By the tie-break Grigoryan is taking the 2nd, Ter-Sahakyan – the 4th places. GM Vlad-Cristian Jianu (Romania) also has 6 points.

Today in the last round Ter-Sahakyan will play with blacks against Jojua and Grigoryan – against Jianu.
