Sarkozy assured: he will present new “Genocides denial” bill

On March 7 in late afternoon, the French head of state received a delegation of Armenian organizations of France (CCAF) and also, Armenian ambassador to Paris Viguen Tchitetchian, Patrick Devedjian, Alain Terzian and Levon Sayan. Armenian-French journalist Jean Eckian informs about this from Paris.

Sarkozy assured his listeners that if he was re-elected President, his intention will be to present the government a new law criminalizing denial of Armenian Genocide. For him, it is unacceptable to deny on the French territory the reality of the genocide suffered by the Armenian people.
