Azerbaijani police officer commits suicide

A police officer committed suicide inAzerbaijan.

The incident took place in Balakan region. Traffic police chief of the region, Major Asif Gasimov shot himself to death, APA informs about this.

No details have been reported, but according to the preliminary version he committed suicide because of serious illness.  

The criminal investigation has been launched into the fact.
