According to a publication on the “Regnum” news agency Azerbaijan and Germany are on the eve of diplomatic scandal.

According to Azerbaijani authorities Germany started a campaign by the Azerbaijani media on the eve of “Eurovision 2012” song contest and tried to discredit Azerbaijani name in the international sphere.

Azerbaijani attacks on German government started when some articles were published at the newspapers belonged to the leading “Yeni Musavat” party. According to those articles German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Herberd Kvale met the representatives of the opposition and asked to unify all enemies of Ilham Aliyev and stage against the Azerbaijani authorities.  

German Embassy had to deny this information. Besides this some German media representatives wrote about the human rights problems in Azerbaijan. This is enough to cause anti-German announcements in Azerbaijani Parliament.
