Open letter to the businessmen: make investments in the border villages

A group of Facebook users have spread an open letter directed to the Armenian businessmen today which especially says:

“Respective businessmen, it is not secret that the number of the population reduces in the villages near the border. Unemployment is the main reason of it. If it is going on in the same way it may become a serious danger in the national security context.

There are communities where besides the unemployment the fire by the enemy is also an important reason for leaving the territories. The fire by enemy endangers the physical existence of the people living there. So taking into consideration the necessity to stop the migration in the villages we call on you to make investments in Dovegh and Aygepar regions of Tavush region. It will assist people to stay in their land. We have rather foggy imagination about the investment spheres there. But we consider that there are the following spheres: mining, production of milk products, tourism. We ask you to make a professional study there. We can coincide patriotism and business interests”, the letter said.
