Armenian Ambassador to China participated in UNESCAP session

On May 21-24, 2012 Armenian Ambassador to China Armen Sargsyan participated in the 68^th session of the UN Economical and Social Commission of Asia and Pacific Ocean region (UNESCAP) which took place in Thailand. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.

Armenian Ambassador delivered speech during the session and especially spoke about the Armenian achievements in Sustanable Development Program. He spoke about overcoming the consequences of financial-economical crisis, struggle against poverty, steps which Government takes, referred to the nuclear energy achievements and spoke about the North-South transport corridor which has strategic meaning for Armenia.

On the end of the meeting some documents were accepted about the UNESCAP program.
