June 2 is announced as Armenian Day in US city Alexandria

The 20^th Armenian festival took place in the US Virginia State, Alexandria city. Press and information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

The festival was organized by the commission of Alexandria-Gyumri sister cities, “Vardan’s cavaliers” NGO and Alexandrian municipality with assistance of Armenian Embassy in the USA.

Thousands people attended the event. Armenian music was sounded and Armenian dances were presented during the event. Also Armenian national dishes were served.

Representatives of Alexandrian municipality and Armenian Embassy in the USA delivered speeches.

June 2 is announced as Armenian Day in Alexandria.
