Second day of Euro 2012: Holland-Denmark and Germany-Portugal will meet

Yesterday, on June 8, Euro 2012 football championship kicked off in Warsaw. The matches are held in Poland and Ukraine. Yesterday two pairs played their first games: Poland-Greece, Russia-Czech Republic.

Russian team won the Czech team with an offensive onslaught led by Alan Dzagoev to take a 4-1 victory. With the win, the Russians grabbed the top spot in Group A. Poland and Greece played to a 1:1 draw.

Today, on June 9, Holland-Denmark and Germany-Portugal pairs will meet at appropriately Metalist Stadium and Arena Lviv. By the way, Germany is one of the favorites of the championship with Spain.

Spain will meet Italy tomorrow at PGE Arena Gdansk.
