Sabotage attempt towards Karvachar: An Armenian solider is killed, another is wounded

According to the information by Artsakh Defense Army, the ceasefire regime was violated for nearly 300 times on the frontline between Artsakh and Azerbaijani troops on January 20, at night. During the night Azerbaijani side used various types of weapon and about 3000 shots were recorded towards Armenian border keepers. 

Artsakh Defense Army carries the military duty on the border and takes the necessary actions in time. 

During the same night, at about 03:00 a.m. the enemy attempted a sabotage towards Karvachar. 

Armenian servicemen managed to prevent the sabotage and made the enemy withdraw with losses.

Unfortunately, Armenian serviceman Nahapet Artak Asatryan (born in 1982) periched during the operation. Another Armenian serviceman, Hovhannes Onik Gasparyan (born in 1973), is wounded.
