Deadline for the Syrian authorities passed: clashes on the borders and in cities are going on

April 10 was the deadline for the Syrian authorities to withdraw the forces from the Syrian cities. The deadline was defined by the UN. But the deadline seems not be taken under consideration.

As cbsnews.com writes activists say Syrian forces have attacked two towns.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says it saw no signs of large-scale troop pullback Tuesday and that most areas of Syria appeared calm. This is a sharp contrast to heavy attacks by Syrian forces on restive towns in recent days.

However, activists reported shelling in the northern village of Marea and the city of Aleppo, and mortar fire in the already battered city of Homs.

China and Russia are those two countries which forbade UN Security Council to put sanctions on Syrian Government. Russia announced that both Syrian authorities and the opposition are guilty for the situation in the country.

UN envoy to Syria Kofi Annan visited Syria and met country’s authorities. He announced that he presented a plan to overcome the Syrian crisis.

According to cbsnews.com the next bloody conflict took place in Syrian borders with Lebanon and Turkey.

As the source informs the violence came as a U.N.-brokered truce plan set to take effect on Tuesday all but collapsed, bolstering fears that the uprising could spark a broader conflagration by sucking in neighboring countries.
