Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on 2012 spring call-up and demobilization. Press service of Armenian President informs about this.

The decree envisages holding from May to July, 2012 call-up for compulsory military and alternative service of male citizens of the Republic of Armenia aged 18, as well as male citizens who have lost compulsory military service deferment right.

Servicemen who have done compulsory military service will be demobilized from May to June, 2012.

The President charged the government within two weeks to adopt a decision securing execution of the presidential decree.
