Georgian ombudsman will visit Armenia

Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan had a meeting with Georgian newly-appointed ombudsman Ucha Nanuashvili. Press and information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues connected with the Armenian community in Georgia and some issues of legal sphere.

Two officials also discussed the problem of Armenian churches in Georgia, spoke about the restoration and returning the churches to the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Georgian newly-appointed Ambassador considers that the issue will be settled soon and positively. He underlined that Georgian Government also wanted to see the issue solved.

Hovhannes Manukyan invited Georgian ombudsman to visit Armenia and the invitation was accepted warmly.
